Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. is a private nonprofit organization that specializes in substance abuse treatment and has been doing so for 40 years.  Today, Spectrum is a national leader in substance abuse and mental health treatment, serving 20,000 individuals each year through more than 100 institutional and community-based programs, from Maine to Washington state. Many of Spectrum's programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). (Taken from Spectrum's "about us" portion of their website). Spectrum operates The Recovery Connection.

 

Massachusetts Organization for Addiction Recovery (MOAR) is a Massachusetts based organization. MOAR's mission is “to organize recovering individuals, families and friends into a collective voice to educate the public about the value of recovery from alcohol and other  addictions”. MOAR encourages people in recovery to come together so that addiction is treated as a significant public health issue and recovery is recognized as valuable to all communities. Community Healthlink Since 1977 Community Healthlink, Inc. has been helping adults, children and families to recover from the effects of mental illness, substance abuse and homelessness.

The Addiction Referral Service (ARC) is a nonprofit organization developed exclusively for charitable and educational purposes.  The ARC provides daily self-help meetings and provides a place for people in recovery to enjoy fellowship activities.  The ARC is a resource center and provides referrals and education to people who desire recovery, their families and to the community-at-large. Breathe Wellness A local business new to the community of Marlboro that provides a holistic approach to unifying body, mind and spirit one breath at a time. Services include Yoga, Meditation, Massage Therapy, Wellness Coaching, Nutritional Counseling and a Retail Boutique. Founders, Beth and Meg, volunteer here at The Recovery Connection. They provide both Recovery in Motion Yoga on Mondays and a Guided Meditation on Thursdays here at the center.

 

S.M.O.C. South Middlesex Opportunity Council

 

Serenity House Serenity House has a 14-year history of providing services to women living in recovery from past addictions to drugs and alcohol. Primarily funded through the Department of Public Health, the program serves a broad cross-section of the community, including those that have a long history of homelessness.

Adcare Hospital Helping individuals and their families overcome the disease of addiction, "AdCare" stands for Alcohol and Drug Care.  For 35 years, AdCare has committed itself to helping individuals and their families cope with addiction one life at a time.
